Employees of the Center for Cultural & Arts Initiatives in Lviv Andriy Sendetskyy, Oleh Bolyuk, Serhiy Havrylovych, and Vira Galaiko found authentic paintings in the entrance of the townhouse of 1905\u20131906, built according to the project of the architectural bureau of Ivan Levynsky, current address 7).<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The cross vault of the house entrance in its original form was decorated with paintings with plant motifs. The ornament’s polychromy, which is somewhat reminiscent of arabesques, will have to be investigated, as only a fragment of the vault painting has been cleared. We present only a short photo report of the component of the painting’s opening from under the layer of whitewash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
