The Center for Cultural & Arts Initiatives is an active association of citizens, founded in 2003 in the city of Lviv, Ukraine. Since the beginning of our activities, we have focused on the implementation of various social, cultural, and artistic programs and projects aimed at the development of our community and society as a whole.
The Centre conducts numerous projects and programs of various scales, which include local, regional, national, and international initiatives. Among the most notable are the International Fairy Tales Festival “KAZ.KAR.”, the All-Ukrainian project for young artists “PROSTO NEBYLYTSI”, the School of Arts SPIROGRAPH, the International Art Project “Art Axis”, and others.
Despite the lack of a dedicated venue, we have been able to achieve substantial success over many years of our work. Among them: the organization of the artistic enlightenment school “SPIROGRAPH”, the implementation of the weekly project “ART WEEKEND” for children, work with orphaned children and children with physical disabilities, the activities of the Lviv Author’s Drama Theatre ScenA8, the “Portrait to the Museum” project, “Filizhanka” project, and many other initiatives. The Centre also houses the museum collection “Kuferok”.
Our Mission and Values
The mission of the Center is to develop culture, particularly the arts, support talented artists, and promote international artistic exchange, strengthening cultural dialogue both within Ukraine and beyond its borders. We believe in the power of creativity and its ability to influence society, foster international understanding, respect, and good neighborliness.
Our primary goal is to unite people, support their aspirations, and enhance their ability to express themselves through art, which is a powerful tool for fostering mutually beneficial cultural dialogue. We do everything possible to inspire and support those who share our beliefs.
